The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) and the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) formalized their Memorandum of Agreement on 4PH projects with a ceremonial signing held on Labor Day at the Pag-IBIG Fund Corporate Headquarters in Makati City.

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa and Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta inked the partnership to strengthen their collaboration in implementing the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program – the flagship housing program of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

“Sa amin pong partner, ang Pag-IBIG Fund, kami po sa SHFC ay nagagalak na maging kaagapay ninyo sa programang ito,” Laxa said “We are confident that this endeavor, which brings together SHFC’s deep community engagement and project development experience and Pag-IBIG Fund’s robust financial services—will produce excellent results.”

Acosta, for her part, expressed confidence that this partnership will solidify the shared commitment of the two government agencies to uplift the lives of Filipino workers by making homeownership more accessible.

In his speech, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, the visionary behind the 4PH Program, affirmed his full support and leadership in this landmark initiative. With both SHFC and Pag-IBIG Fund operating under DHSUD, he assured that all funding involved in this partnership will be managed with utmost integrity, transparency, and accountability.

To date, SHFC is implementing 81 4PH projects in various locations across the country, including People’s Ville in Davao City; Crystal Peak Estates in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga; and Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

SHFC senior officials, including Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot, Resettlement Services Group Vice President Bob Flores, Legal Affairs Group Vice President Atty. Melanie Valenciano, and 4PH Central Luzon Head Prandy Vergara, attended the ceremony. Atty. Emiliano Reyes of the SHFC Board of Directors was also present.
